I am very pleased to announce that Granada Media have recently finalised a deal in Australia for the first 14 Sharpe films on DVD. These will soon be available for purchase through www.timelife.com.au.

Sharpe's Challenge will also soon be available to purchase throughout Australia via BBC Worldwide, although we don't have a date at present.

This picture has just been completed and is the latest by Artist Garry Cartwright. The idea was suggested and commissioned by Chris Clarke to be unveiled at the SAS 10th Anniversary Bash where it went down well and thus is now available as a limited edition of just 500.

The original painting is 140cm x 102cm (55" x 40") and took three months to complete. Chris asked for a picture which included all the SAS equipment, weaponry and the 'colours' etc and as this included 'Sharpe's Eagle' this gave the idea for the picture and its title.

The print reproduction size will be approx 60cm x 44cm (24" x 17.5") and can be obtained in the usual way by sending a cheque for £15 + £2.50 p&p Total £17.50 (UK only), payable to Mrs. J. Cartwright @ 1 Magdalene Fields, Warkworth, Northumberland NE65 0UF, England.

Special offer - anyone purchasing this new print can also obtain a "Bean" print (see below) at the discounted price of £10.00, if ordered and paid for at the same time (total cost £27.50).

A limited edition print from an original
oil painting, by Garry Cartwright

With the kind permission of Mr Bernard Cornwell and with the co-operation and support of Christine Clarke of the Sharpe Appreciation Society, I bring you the opportunity to purchase a Limited Edition Print of some of the main characters from the Award Winning TV Series.

The image size is approximately 27 inches x 18 inches and is on the finest quality paper.

Most of the characters chosen were in at least two episodes and include the chosen men and all Sharpe's Women; but I think you'll find one face is familiar for another reason!

The richness of colour and attention to detail will credit the decor of any home!

Garry Cartwright has been an SAS member since 1999 when he began the painting as a treat for himself at first but it was later decided after both Chris Clarke and Bernard Cornwell had seen it and approved the picture that it may appeal to all the members.

The picture is being issued as a Limited Edition of 1000 which the artist will number and sign.
